Urban Village Sentosa is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Pastry Chef to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department, ensuring high-quality desserts and baked goods are prepared and served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Oversee the daily operations of the pastry department, including menu planning, ingredient procurement, and staff scheduling.,Ensure high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation in all pastry products.,Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to maintain and improve department standards.,Collaborate with the kitchen manager and other department heads to ensure seamless food service operations.,Maintain accurate records of inventory, usage, and waste to optimize costs and minimize food waste.,Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pastry arts and food service.,Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Minimum 5 years of experience as a pastry chef or similar role in the food service industry.,Proven track record of successfully managing a pastry department or similar role.,Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.,Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.,Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.,Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.,Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
